Day 10: Santa Fe (NM) - Albuquerque (NM) (101 miles)

With every day of our westward journey, picking out the most representative pictures gets more difficult. Today, we are choosing 28 photos out of 291 pictures that we took in a single day! After starting the day at the beautiful Georgia O'Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe, we stumbled upon Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument more or less by chance, while avoiding the highway from Santa Fe to Albuquerque. At first, we were only going to do a 1.1 mile hike, but extending it by the Slot Canon Trail (3.8 miles total) was totally worth it! New Mexico is an 'Enchanting Place', indeed.

So far we completed 2608 miles of our trip and crossed 11 states (MA, NY, PA, OH, IN, IL, MO, KS, OK, TX, NM) and three time zones.
