Day 7: Tulsa (OK) - Oklahoma City (OK) (124 miles)

After a stormy night (with a tornado warning for the north of Tulsa county - where we were actually staying for the night...) we continued our trip on Old Route 66 past many abandoned buildings, gas stations and motels. One of the last stops was 'Pops', a soda store with well over 600 different soda flavors (some are rather weird, such as bacon or sweet corn). We spent the evening in Oklahoma City's Bricktown district and were pleasantly surprised what this city had to offer for a Friday night out.

So far we completed 1911 miles of our trip and crossed 9 states (MA, NY, PA, OH, IN, IL, MO, KS, OK) and two time zones.
