Day 8: Oklahoma City (OK) - Amarillo (TX) (281 miles)

Day 8 started in Oklahoma and brought us to the Lone Star State after passing numerous ghost towns on Route 66 along with even more motel, gasoline and diner signs.

So far we completed 2192 miles of our trip and crossed 10 states (MA, NY, PA, OH, IN, IL, MO, KS, OK, TX) and two time zones.
